OM has a great
way of funding the mission - basically we get to raise our own
support!
This is both
daunting and exciting as we get to involve you all in the
process. At first our knees quaked as we set off down this route
but we are starting to discover that God has loads of patience
and can teach us something. You see we get to mobilise and
enthuse a great number of our friends who really want to be
involved.
I remember Ken
Blue speaking at New Wine one Year. He had started up a new
ministry in faith and wrote to all his friends. The gist was
this "You know how you all say you love me, well now is the time
to love me with your money - send it now!"
We are quite
excited at how we get to rely upon God to supply our daily needs
and we know He will do this though you! Practically we are
asking that our friends and family support us through regular
monthly giving, this can of course be gift aided and so adds
some 28% to the gift if you are a taxpayer.
